Appointments


New patient visits or complete exams involve a full heath history and physical exam of the head and neck area taking up to an hour. Treatment appointments, or follow up appointments, usually require less extensive exams and time.

On your first visit we will begin a permanent record. We will ask you to provide a complete medical history and a registration form. Please bring your insurance card and any referral information. Arrive about 15 minutes early to allow time to complete the registration process. If you have been under the care of another doctor, we may ask your permission to provide some of your records. Please provide records from previous doctors if you feel that information may assist Dr. Yee in treating you.
 

 

 

Physician Referrals


In unusual or complicated cases, we can give you better care by seeking the opinion of another physician. At these times we will suggest a consultation with another specialist, and may refer you to his or her care, who will charge his or her customary fee. If you desire another physician's opinion, we will send the details of your condition to any physicians you request.
 
 Facial and Plastic Surgery


Dr. Yee has four years training and has completed a one year fellowship specializing in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. We have in our office a fully equipped operating room to perform procedures conveniently and safely. For patients considering elective facial plastic surgery, please call about rates and for a cosmetic surgery consultation.
 
Payment


Co-pays are due at the time of service. Please make any arrangements regarding payment before services are rendered. We accept Cash, Check, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
 
Insurance


We participate with a number of insurance plans. Please call to verify participation in your plan. You must bring your insurance card with you. Plans vary, and can cover from all of your cost to none. You are responsible for any amount not covered by your insurance. Direct complaints regarding coverage to your insurance carrier, and please be aware if your plan pays you directly, that payment may take up to three months.

Please call our office if you have any questions regarding your condition, medication, treatment, or changing your appointment, as well as any other questions you might have for Dr. Yee. If you have developed a complication or new problem, and because many diseases exhibit similar symptoms, please understand that it may be necessary for a re-examination in the office.

Prescriptions refills


Each prescription refill is reviewed by Dr. Yee and approved or denied after reviewing each patient's chart. If your appointment with our office has exceeded six months, a follow up appointment is necessary to continue treatment. If you need a prescription to be refilled, to receive the fastest response please call your pharmacy and have them fax us a refill request form. To ensure you are not without your medication, please call the pharmacy about a week before your prescription runs out. This will ensure that you will receive your refill within a comfortable time frame.
